Dante in Conclave. La lettera ai cardinali
To understand the enigmatic letter sent from Dante to the cardinals in 1314 for the papal election, a literary analysis is not enough. The Potestà ’s original philological and historical research allows us to access to the political thinking of Dante and to his hopes for the 14th Century Church.
