Kika
Kika è la storia di una volpe speciale. A Kika non piace cacciare come le altre volpi, lei ha un dono particolare: le piace cantare. Non vive in una tana sottoterra m a dentro al tronco di un albero. Si crede un uccellino? no! sa di essere una volpe! Una volpe diversa. Una volpe canterina! Ecco che all’imbrunire non esce di soppiatto per spaventare galline e lepri ma si prepara per un bel concerto e tutto li bosco sta ad ascoltare. Cullati dalla sua melodia gli animaletti dormono beati. Solo il vento le fa compagnia fino alle prime luci dell’alba.
Una storia lieve che fa capire come la diversità può essere un dono per sé e per gli altri.
Sara Basile ha al suo attivo alcune pubblicazioni dedicate al mondo dell’infanzia, due delle quali scritte e illustrate a quattro mani con Simone De Vita, suo compagno nel lavoro e nella vita, con il quale condivide la passione per la musica, le storie, le illustrazioni e un rifugio immerso nel bosco.
Kika
Kika is the story of a special fox. Kika doesn’t like to hunt like other foxes, she has a special gift: she likes to sing. She doesn’t live in a den underground but inside the trunk of a tree. She thinks she’s a little bird? No! She knows she’s a fox! A different fox. A singing fox! So at dusk she doesn’t sneak out to scare the chickens and hares but gets ready for a beautiful concert and the whole forest listens. Lulled by her melody, the little animals sleep blissfully. Only the wind keeps her company until the first light of dawn.
A light story that makes you understand how diversity can be a gift for yourself and for others.
Sara Basile has several publications dedicated to the world of children to her credit, two of which were written and illustrated together with Simone De Vita, her partner in work and in life, with whom she shares a passion for music, stories, illustrations and a refuge immersed in the woods.
