Elementi per la stesura di una tesi di laurea
by Pessina, Giulia
At the end of their academic career, each student needs to deal with the drafting of a final thesis on a chosen topic. It is a complex operation, as it requires attention both in the content design phase of the issues and the drafting phase in an academic writing style. This is why the writing of the thesis is, for many, a difficult and stressful activity and a last obstacle before the desired result. This concise handbook is designed to be a lifesaver for anyone in this situation. It focuses on the most common problems and suggests possible effective solutions. The structure of the work traces three crucial aspects of university writing: the ideation of a theme, the search for documentation, the drafting of the paper. The general approach, made accessible by a simple writing and the many examples proposed, is divided into several specific sections. Each section of the book deepens methodological, theorical, and stylistic aspects. The handbook contains valuable writing advice, plentiful resources to fulfill research requirements for most courses, and targeted exercises and activities. Often difficulties can spark inventiveness, and with the right strategies scientific writing will no longer be perceived as a heavy burden, but as an extraordinary opportunity for reflection and enrichment.
