Anche gli abitanti del paese apprezzano la loro unione, superando i pregiudizi. Fiaba lieve, dal messaggio poetico e convincente.

Alessandro Marcigliano è nato a Ferrara ma vive a Roma. Di parole ne produce tante per lavoro, è interprete di conferenze presso le Istituzioni europee e lavora anche come traduttore. Quando si stanca di inseguirle, essendo pigro come un gatto, ne incolla qualcuna su di un foglio bianco e inventa storie da raccontare a chi vuole stare ad ascoltarle.
Alessandra Cimatoribus: Le sue opere sono state presenti in numerose mostre, come la Fiera Internazionale del Libro per Ragazzi di Bologna, la Biennale di Bratislava, la Biennale di Barreiro, la Mostra dell’American Illustrators Society, New York, l’Itabashi Art Museum, Tokyo. Ha illustrato circa cinquanta libri per editori internazionali. Si ispira alla natura, all’arte, al colore, ai sentimenti, al silenzio.
Hercules and Caroline

Diversity is seen, suffered, criticised…. not in this delicate love story. The two protagonists live with different perspectives: Hercules is tiny, Caroline is a “stangona” (very tall) who touches the clouds with her flowing hair. Both manage to cope with their daily lives, sometimes not without problems. One day they meet and are hopelessly attracted. They find the right formula to talk, live and marry, proving that diversity is a wealth to be shared. Even the villagers appreciate their union, overcoming prejudices. A light fairy tale with a poetic and convincing message.
Message: this story prompts readers to reflect on accepting one’s limitations and welcoming the other, overcoming prejudice and opening up to inclusiveness.
Alessandro Marcigliano was born in Ferrara but lives in Rome. He produces many words for his professional work, he is a con- ference interpreter at European Institutions and is also a translator. When he gets tired of chasing them, being as lazy as a cat, he pastes some on a blank sheet of paper and invents stories to tell to those longing to listen.
Alessandra Cimatoribus: her works have been present in many exhibitions, as the International Children’s Book Fair in Bolo- gna, the Biennale of Bratislava, the Biennale of Barreiro, the American Illustrators Society’s Exhibition, New York, the Itabashi Art Museum, Tokyo. She illustrated about fifty books for international publishers. She’s inspired by nature, art, colour, feelings, silence.

亚历山德罗·马尔奇利亚诺，出生于费拉拉，现居罗马。他是欧盟机构的会议口译员，也从事翻译工作，他的工作离不开文字创作。有时候写累了，他就停下来，随手写几句话，编些故事，讲给愿意听的人。
阿莱桑德拉·奇马托里布斯：其作品曾多次参展，包括博洛尼亚国际儿童书展、布拉迪斯拉发插画双年展、巴雷鲁双年展、纽约美国插画家协会展览，以及东京的板桥美术馆的展览。她曾为多家国际出版社绘制插图，累计近五十本。她从大自然、艺术、缤纷的色彩、真挚的情感和安静的时光中寻找灵感。
