Abbiamo due modi per giungere alla nostra destinazione, uno è dirigerci lì direttamente, l’altro è arrivarci per vie traverse, indirette, non lineari. Si tende spesso a pensare che il modo diretto sia preferibile, ma il modo trasversale permette di ottenere altre ricchezze, anche se costa più tempo.

Michela Nodari vive in Liguria, in un piccolo paese stretto tra il mare e le montagne. Qui lavora a scuola come educatrice. Divide la sua casa con un marito, due bambini, due pecore, tre gatti, Bobo il cane e un numero imprecisato di anatre e galline. Con tutti loro immagina storie. Poi, le scrive.
Matilde Tacchini è art director, illustratrice e autrice per bambini. Alle elementari si appassiona all’arte e sogna un futuro come madonnara. A 19 anni abbandona i gessetti e si dedica alla laurea in Art Direction alla NABA. Dopo 15 anni di affermate campagne pubblicitarie, apre uno studio creativo a Piacenza, dove oltre al graphic design si dedica alla letteratura per i più piccoli, la sua vera passione. Convinta che, in fondo, la creatività sia una cosa sola.

Michela Nodari lives in Liguria, in a small village nestled between the sea and the mountains. There, she works as an educator in a school. She shares her home with her husband, two children, two sheep, three cats, Bobo the dog, and an indeterminate number of ducks and chickens. With all of them, she imagines stories. Then, she writes them.
Matilde Tacchini is an art director, illustrator, and children’s book author. She discovered her passion for art in elementary school and dreamed of becoming a street artist. At 19, she put aside her chalks to pursue a degree in Art Direction at NABA. After 15 years of success in advertising campaigns, she founded a creative studio in Piacenza, where she focuses on graphic design and children’s literature—her true passion. She firmly believes that, in the end, creativity is all one and the same.
