A Bosco Atavico, la prima cosa che si fa la mattina è esprimere un desiderio. È così da sempre, ed è così per tutti. Orso Bruno desidera essere felice, Scoiattolo Rosso essere amato; qualcuno desidera un pizzico di fortuna, e qualcun altro niente di più di un pasto succulento. Solo Lepre Cangiante non desidera nulla. Ma com’è possibile, si chiedono i suoi amici. Non si può vivere senza desiderare. E siccome gli amici si riconoscono nel momento del bisogno, decidono di accompagnarla da Cervo Nobile per ricevere consiglio. E davanti al fuoco, il gruppo di amici capirà che desiderare significa semplicemente creare delle piccole occasioni di felicità. E che basterà coglierne una al giorno per rendere quel giorno unico e irripetibile.

Luca Tortolini è un amato e pluripremiato scrittore per ragazzi, sceneggiatore e docente, vive a Macerata. Ha vinto nel 2024 il Premio Andersen come miglior autore dell’anno e il Premio Andersen 2021 per il Miglior Albo Illustrato con François Truffaut. Il bambino che amava il cinema (Kite). È autore di diversi libri, tra cui Le case degli altri bambini (Orecchio acerbo, Menzione Speciale Opera Prima al Bologna Ragazzi Award 2016) e Il giardino più bello (Il Castoro).
Giulia Vetri è un’illustratrice, scrittrice e designer italiana, nata nel 1989 in un paesino sul delta del fiume Po e attualmente residente a Bruxelles. Ha studiato disegno industriale allo IUAV di Venezia e illustrazione all’ISIA di Urbino. Ha pubblicato diversi libri per case editrici francesi e internazionali.

Luca Tortolini is a beloved and award-winning children’s writer, screenwriter, and teacher, living in Macerata, Italy. In 2024, he won the Andersen Prize for Best Author of the Year, following his 2021 Andersen Prize for Best Illustrated Book with François Truffaut. The Boy Who Loved Cinema (Kite). His works include The Houses of Other Children (Orecchio Acerbo, Special Mention at the 2016 Bologna Ragazzi Award) and The Most Beautiful Garden (Il Castoro).
Giulia Vetri is an Italian illustrator, writer, and designer, born in 1989 in a small town on the Po River Delta and currently based in Brussels. She studied industrial design at IUAV in Venice and illustration at ISIA in Urbino. She has published several books with French and international publishers.
