Hanoi: The Vietnamese edition of Geronimo Stilton’s Viaggio alla Scoperta dell’Italia

The Vietnamese edition of Geronimo Stilton’s ‘A Thousand Wonders. Viaggio alla Scoperta dell’Italia’, the publishing project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, which aims to raise awareness of Italy’s artistic and cultural excellence, will be launched in Hanoi. The volume was produced by Edizioni Piemme, in collaboration with Atlantyca for the international editions.

The volume will take young Vietnamese readers on a journey of discovery through Italy with an excellent guide: Geronimo Stilton. Travelling along the Boot, the children will discover cities, villages, stories and landscapes. From Rome to Venice, from the Apennines to the Alps, Geronimo will visit the most famous Italian monuments and places, including UNESCO sites, without forgetting lesser-known treasures, gastronomic specialities, places of scientific research, handicrafts and industrial products.

The Vietnamese edition of the book, published by the Kim Dong publishing house, joins the translations already produced in Arabic, Chinese, Bulgarian, Portuguese, Ukrainian, French, Spanish, and English as part of a broader integrated promotion project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation that aims to bring girls and boys from all over the world closer to the beauty of our country. The international editions were produced in collaboration with Atlantyca Entertainment, which manages publishing rights worldwide, and distributed through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ network of Embassies, Consulates, Italian Cultural Institutes and Italian schools abroad.

Translated into 52 languages and with print runs of more than 180 million copies worldwide, the Geronimo Stilton books, the brainchild of Elisabetta Dami, are published in Italy by Edizioni Piemme and represent one of the greatest successes of Italian publishing for girls and boys in recent years.
