M’illumino d’immenso

On 20 October 2023, the winners of the VI edition of ‘M’illumino d’immenso’, an international prize for the translation of poetry from Italian into Spanish, and of the I edition of the same prize in the variant from Spanish into Italian, were awarded at the Italian Cultural Institute in Mexico City. 328 translators from 28 countries entered the competition. The jury, made up of the poets Jorge Aulicino (Argentina), Barbara Bertoni (Italy), Vanni Bianconi (Switzerland), Valerio Magrelli (Italy) and Fabio Morábito (Mexico), awarded prizes to Gabriele Mancini for the translation from Spanish into Italian and Jorge Yglesia for the translation from Italian into Spanish.
