La distanza del cielo. Un atlante beckettiano

Federico Pacifici is considered one of the leading experts on Samuel Beckett. The day before a conference, while visiting Cooldrinagh, the house in Dublin where the writer was born and spent his childhood, he receives a phone call forcing him to make a sudden departure. He thus begins a journey through the main Beckettian places, a journey that will force him to deal with some dramatic events in his life, first of all the sudden disappearance of his daughter, of whom he has had no news for years.In this journey, the events of Federico Pacifici will alternate with those of the Irish writer, in a physical and biographical journey in which Samuel Beckett’s life leaves the pages and intertwines with that of the protagonist, in an intimate parable of personal resolution.
