This volume, produced in collaboration with Momo Edizioni, brings together accounts of the Hungarian trial in which Ilaria Salis is one of the defendants, along with a long, previously unpublished account of the legal case involving Maja T., which forms part of the same trial. It is a story about the resurgence of intolerance that Europe has never fully come to terms with, and which is leading to the return of hateful ideologies long thought to have been defeated and in decline. Part of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the fund for the defendants’ legal costs – a group of people who risk being imprisoned in a Hungarian jail for an unreasonably, absurdly long period of time.
