Non siamo Frankenstein, siamo dèi

A book to tell of twelve special students who for four years have engaged in a yoga and psychomotricity course. All that remained of them wereposthumous notes, which recorded everyday life traits, aspirations and qualities of character. It seemed like evanescent material and instead from each memory camereflections and reasoning arose from each memory, to the point that sometimes each of the twelve as if they appeared before me. Some presented themselves to me boldly and full ofthings to tell; others approached me on tiptoe without saying anything; some just smiled; others whispered. However in the end my basket was full of gifts. There was trust, fear and courage;there was goodness mixed with bitterness, the desire to know and play again, the need to simplify, to laugh, to dance and to indulge in new embraces.

Marina Serina, a philosophy graduate, after dedicating herself to athletics, began studying yoga in 1997 at the Centro di Cultura Rishi in Milan. In 2007, she founded the Tartaloto Cultural Association and the Rishi Centre in Crema. She has always been active and interested in Asian culture and is engaged in her own research into Jainism and aspects of Vedic and Predictic culture.
