ORIZZONTI is a silent book that tackles one of the most complex and current issues of our day in a poetic, strong and original way: the theme of illegal immigration. The journey by sea of a boy, told through the tight and involving rhythm of the images, is that of many people forced to flee their own country. A story enclosed in a shell that the protagonist will share with one of his peers, on an Italian beach.
Finalist of the 2014 Silent Book Contest, a demanding challenge for the international world of illustration: for the first time the illustrators have been called to participate in a competition for the creation of a \’silent\’ book, evaluated by an important international jury .
Established Milanese illustrator for young and old. She collaborates with the major Italian publishing houses, she also creates illustrations for magazines, periodicals and newspapers such as \’Il Corriere della Sera\’, she also teaches at the School of Comics in Milan and takes care of creative workshops in schools, bookstores and libraries.
