Queer in Italia. Vol. 2

Queer in Italia 2 is the sequel to the successful volume Queer in Italia. Differenze in movimento (2011): a valuable tool to compare the past and present of the queer movement in Italy. As global and national right-wingers intensify the struggle against the viability of subjects not envisaged by their cis-hetero-patriarchal order, and as belligerent and extractivist capitalism continues its struggle against the viability of all subjects that resist the technocratic and colonial expansionism of profit, “Queer in Italy 2” testifies to the active presence in Italy of transversal and intersectional positionings that, from within these matrices of oppression, oppose the resistant knowledges produced by LGBTQIA+ subjectivities. Although they are specific to these contexts, they are knowledge and tools available for the liberation of all.
