Dedicated to children, but also addressed to parents and teachers, this book illustrates how and for how long some animals sleep. A sleep rule is connected to each of them. On the last pages there are drawings to be completed and a short questionnaire that will allow children to discover, based on their habits, which animal they resemble the most. It therefore aims to promote greater knowledge of sleep and its functions among children, and appropriate lifestyles with a view to prevention.
Maria Costanza Cipullo is a psychologist and teacher. She works at the Ministry of Education, where she oversees projects on health and healthy lifestyles. She has published several articles and co-authored various essays and research on behaviour in children and adolescents.
