Yoga. La composizione delle tecniche come strumento per ritrovare una pratica viva
by Proia Francesca
A documented history of yoga, from its beginnings to today. Francesca Proia, founder of the advanced yoga training and research school “I vasi comunicanti,” outlines a path to understand and bring to life a practice of yogic techniques composition, drawing on the poetics of three twentieth-century yoga masters. In their practice, the relationship between composition and the effectiveness of the discipline is highlighted: Genevieve Stebbins, Cajzoran Ali, and Noëlle Perez Christiaens. The journey unfolds through a series of essential texts, an ideal backdrop to tackle almost perceptual questions, useful in defining the unique nature of a discipline that is a philosophy created by the body.
