Questo è un piccolo albo illustrato con poche parole, il diario di viaggio di un orso con una folta pelliccia e un grande desiderio di girare il mondo, ma è anche un libro sul bisogno di movimento, su quella voglia di attraversare lo spazio e il tempo per esplorare nuovi territori, per tenere a bada aspettative e realtà, per mettersi alla prova.
Ma l’orso sa bene che viaggiare significa abbandonare i luoghi del cuore, quelli in cui si sente al sicuro, protetto dagli oggetti che sono “casa”: è una tensione continua tra la solitudine e la ricerca degli altri, tra la voglia di andare e l’urgenza di tornare, tra la velocità e la necessità di andare piano, in uno scambio antinomico reso meravigliosamente dalle illustrazioni di Anna Benotto che, con un tratto avvolgente e morbido, dà voce alla tenera vita interiore del viaggiatore.
Anna Benotto vive a Torino, ma è nata e cresciuta tra le colline del Roero, in Piemonte.
Restauratrice di formazione, dopo anni dedicati alla conservazione delle opere d’arte, riprende in mano le matite per scrivere e disegnare il suo primo albo illustrato, Viaggi.
Nella trama dei suoi tratteggi convivono personaggi immaginari e soggetti reali, in una danza creativa di istinto e minuziosità.
Journeys
A book with few words, the travel diary of a bear with thick fur and a great desire to travel the world, but it is also a book about the need for movement, about that desire to cross space and time to explore new territories, to keep expectations and realities at bay, to test oneself.
Anna Benotto lives in Turin, but was born and raised in the hills of Roero, in Piedmont. A restorer by training, after years dedicated to the conservation of works of art, she picks up her pencils again to write and draw her first illustrated book, Viaggi (Journeys). In the plot of her hatchings, imaginary characters and real subjects coexist, in a creative dance of instinct and meticulousness.

但这只熊知道，旅行也意味着告别熟悉与让它感到安稳的地方，告别那些代表“家”的物件与记忆。他在孤独与陪伴之间徘徊，在“出发”与“归来”的拉扯中挣扎，在奔跑与缓行之间找寻节奏。这种对立与平衡，在安娜·贝诺托的插图中得到了细腻地表达。她用柔和包裹的线条和色彩，赋予旅者细腻而温柔的内心世界。
安娜·贝诺托出生并成长于意大利皮埃蒙特的罗埃罗丘陵，现居都灵。
她原本是一名艺术品修复师，曾多年从事文化遗产保护工作。后来，她重新拾起画笔，创作了她的首部图画书——《旅程》。
在她的画笔下，虚构的人物和真实的主题相融合，本能的创造力和细腻的手法相得益彰。
