Camminare il silenzio. Itinerari religiosi e civili in Italia

Camminare il silenzio. Itinerari religiosi e civili in Italia

Camminare il silenzio (Walking the Silence) is a guide featuring 39 routes that wind their way through every region of Italy, suitable for both experienced walkers and beginners. The trails lead to sites associated with the various faiths that today shape the country’s religious landscape, as well as to places of remembrance that strengthen its civic and democratic spirit. From the coast to the highest peaks, through footpaths, parks and nature reserves, the beauty of the tangible and intangible heritage accompanies the traveller along routes that, step by step, transform into inner landscapes, where the choice of silence offers space for reflection in an age increasingly overwhelmed by the noise of a restless world.
