Cuscus skate. La tenda sul cortile

Akram is passionate about skateboarding but his parents don’t let him practice as they say skateboarding is too expensive and dangerous. So, with his friends, he decides to climb over the fence of the playground where their parents think they are spending the afternoons, and land in a scrapyard where they’ll use an old disused swimming pool as a skate park. Here they befriend Angela, daughter of the owner of the scrapyard, and her horrible dog. They also spot a little girl peeking out of a closed window and feel something is not quite right. The story is narrated by twins Kevin and Rolida, in alternating chapters until the thrilling skate contest at the end. The book is enriched by fresh, captivating black and white illustrations.
