Daniele Mencarelli is a poet and writer, born in Rome in 1974. In 2020, he published Everything Calls for Salvation, (Mondadori), which was a finalist for the Premio Strega and won the Premio Strega Giovani. The novel was adapted into the acclaimed Netflix series of the same name. He regularly contributes articles on culture and society to newspapers and magazines. His books have been translated into Arabic, Albanian, Croatian, French, German, Greek, English (UK & US), Portuguese, Serbian, Spanish, Catalan, and Macedonian, among other languages.
