Strano

Daniela Pareschi is an illustrator and painter with a background as an art-director in film. She has published illustrated books for various publishing houses and her work has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions. In 2016, she won the ‚Illustrator of the Year‘ competition with her calendar for “Città del Sole”. In 2018, her illustrations were selected for the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. In 2021, she was chosen in the selection ‚The Child Spectator‘ as part of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. In 2022 her work ‚Captain America‘ was exhibited at the Art Gallery in Venice in the Biennale circuit. She teaches sketching at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Cinecittà and collaborates with Il Secolo XIX newspaper. With Il Barbagianni Editore she already published Piangete, bambini!, Animali Bellissimi (sold in Germany and Russia) and What I can’t see (sold in Germany and Brazil), all picture books.
