The Treccani Festival of the Italian Language for newitalianbooks
The Treccani Festival of the Italian Language, now in its ninth edition, is a project conceived by Treccani Cultura to present the major themes emerging from the research Treccani has long been conducting on the Italian language. It pays particular attention to the value of words as tools for expression and reasoning, for sharing, and for respectful exchange between differing positions. The Festival is built around five events held across Italy (Lecco, Lecce, Rome, Cagliari, Gromo and Clusone), exploring the many facets of a key word that changes each year.
“Dialogue” is the word chosen for 2026: a key to fostering mutual understanding and encounters between cultures, generations and points of view.
This month, the Treccani Festival of the Italian Language offers newitalianbooks readers a focus on a selection of recently published non-fiction titles from Treccani.
