Le amiche che vorresti e dove trovarle

A book that was co-created by Beatrice Masini and Fabian Negrin. Twenty-two portraits of literary heroines – from Emma Bovary to Jane Eyre, Lady Chatterley to Anna Karenina, Jo to Pippi Longstocking, even the more recent Matilda of Roald Dahl and David Almond’s Mina – who share the characteristic of breaking the mold of the society they live in., The illustrations are stylistically diverse according to the type of character’s and her personality. To each heroine is dedicated an evocative excerpt, through which the author introduces young readers to the emotions and themes that the character carries inside her, like a door opening onto worlds and dreams that are always new. The appendix contains a brief contextualization with information about the novels and authors cited.
