Orchi, antropofagi e macellai. Storie varie per bambini succulenti

by Cipolla, Alfonso
Orchi, antropofagi e macellai. Storie varie per bambini succulenti

This book is intended for story-diggers, for all the idle wanderers lost in thought, for retro library rats, for hardened children, for anxious parents, for nostalgic educators, for upright and benevolent readers, for the illustrious garrison, and for listless or absent-minded serial killers. A narrated collection of un-wise essays, facetious studies, childhood theaters, and lost paradises. Loose threads to weave together stories, rumors, fairy tales, myths, and puppets. Tales of tales, reinvented a thousand times between orality, pop literature, and miniature theater imaginings. Stories of ogres, cannibals, butchers, and sausage-makers of young maidens. Stories of disobedient little girls, with or without a crimson hood. Stories of ravenous mouths and children sold off for scraps. Stories of ashes, fireplaces, and chimney sweeps. Stories of Cyclopes, Tom Thumbs, and tiny runts. Stories of talking beasts and beastly humans. Stories of fear to conceal fear. Stories of truth, so that truth may keep disguising itself as impossible tales.
