Italian titles in the spotlight at the 2026 Guadalajara Book Fair

newitalianbooks presents a special trilingual digital showcase (Italian, English, Spanish) dedicated to new Italian books across all genres (fiction, non-fiction, general interest, children’s books, comics) to mark the 40th edition of the Guadalajara Book Fair, at which Italy is the guest of honour (28th November–6th December 2026).

This initiative has been made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Treccani, the Centre for Books and Reading of the Ministry of Culture, and the collaboration of the AIE (Italian Publishers’ Association).

The call for submissions addressed to agents and publishers last April received more than XXXX responses, totalling XXXX book profiles. Each profile is accompanied by the book’s cover, a description of its content, a list of awards received and existing translations, as well as the contact details of the rights representative.
