Topologie del presente. Il poema e i suoi luoghi
by Amelia Valtolina, Alessandro Baldacci, Camilla MiglioThe essays and poems and critical considerations collected in this first volume of the series ‘Sinalefe. Library of European Poetry’ represent the culmination of a long discussion on the role and forms of topographical and topological imagination in contemporary poetry and culture, initiated by Lina Kostenko’s precious and impassioned contribution, to which are added the notations of two ‘classics’ of the contemporary horizon such as Fabio Pusterla and Antonella Anedda as well as Adeline Baldacchino’s short rhapsodic prose. These reflections introduce a more direct comparison with the poem, which unfolds in the second section in which unpublished poems from the previous section are published. Closing the triptych, with which the form of the miscellanies of ‘Sinalefe’ was shaped, is the section ‘Colloqui’, in whose name the Hölderlinian wish for a plural thought, born in listening to the Other, still resounds. Here, the voices of the poets who open the book are interwoven with those of scholars and scholars who, in dialogue with European poetry of the present, question the space configured by poetic verse.
