A.I.C.L., affiliated to UNESCO since 1971, has set itself the goal of strengthening links between cultures, particularly in the field of literary criticism, and promoting cultural development in the contemporary world by multiplying exchanges between literatures through translations. The defense of the book is for the Association one of the most important tasks of our time.
