Tea has always felt invisible, like an apple seed: everyone looks at an apple’s peel, shape and colour, but no one thinks about its seeds. When Tea is placed in a distant aunt’s care, she’s pretty nervous: what will happen to her with that odd woman who takes happytherapy classes, reads tea leaves and concocts potions out of spider webs and snail slime? But the truth is that all families are odd in their own way, and it might be time for Tea to find her own.
