Ragazzo mio. Lettera agli uomini veri di domani
by Pellai, Alberto
Alberto Pellai signs an indispensable and revolutionary tool of emotional and gender education dedicated mainly to men, young or old, and to all those who don’t have the good fortune to learn to love and self-respect.
Ragazzo mio. Lettera agli uomini veri di domani” was born from the desire of a father to tell his son the words he wanted to hear when he was his age. It arises from the desire to build a relationship that is a source of inspiration and motivation, and the desire to make “being a man” something more than what previous generations have left us as a legacy. How can you be and become a “true man” rather than chasing the false myth of the “real man”?
How can we understand how important it is to inhabit the territory of sadness and fear, without fearing to appear fragile and vulnerable, when life comes to meet us with its highest and unexpected waves, more violent and difficult to manage? There are those who remain there, with their legs planted on the ground and transforms the impact of the wave into a challenge of strength: “Let’s see who wins. Let’s see if he can move me from here”. But life is not a race and much less an arm wrestling. Life is training, it is giving meaning, it is building meaning, it is reflecting on who we are, what we do, who we would like to become. It is not easy to succeed in all this. But adolescence is a long journey, made up of many stages. This book, which proposes a series of concrete situations from which to start reflection and the teachings that may derive, is one of those.
