There are cakes that are real cuddles, others that help chase away the boredom of a long afternoon, and still others that bring everyone together. There are twelve of Simona’s favourite recipes and they are all accompanied by refined illustrations, which take the imagination to the kitchen and the desire to be together. Because it’s always the right time to make a cake! Everyone can create exceptional cakes: all it takes is a smile and a few simple gestures.

Simona Galimberti, recipes. She has been cooking since you were a child, especially sweets. Today her work is divided between the Cake Design workshop where she designs and creates cakes and her Instagram page.
Sonia Maria Luce Possentini, illustrations. A painter and illustrator with a poetic and evocative stroke, she has participated in numerous exhibitions and collaborates with many of the most important Italian publishers. In 2017, she won the Andersen prize as best illustrator.
